Dr. Elaine Screaton (DC, BSc) graduated Magna Cum Laude with Clinic Honours with her Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) degree from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto, Ontario. Dr. Elaine completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Western Ontario in London, Ontario with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology.
While at the University of Western Ontario, Elaine was on the Varsity Volleyball Team for 4 years, and claimed the OUA Championship Banner in 2011 as captain during her final year.
Elaine has been actively involved in sports throughout her life, and has competed in competitive swimming, volleyball, basketball, track & field, and field hockey (to name a few!). Physical activity is still a very important part of her life, and her current passions include golf (5 handicap), volleyball, and weightlifting (CrossFit).
In addition to her active lifestyle, she tries to keep up with her 6lb dog Hunter (a chihuahua spaniel), and loves to spend free time learning to cook new dishes.
As a chiropractor in northwest Calgary, Dr. Elaine remains committed to providing evidence -based, patient centred care. In addition to providing skilled manual care, she strives to include patient education on their condition and condition specific rehabilitation to each of her clients to ensure they recover and reach their goals as quickly as possible.
