TMJ (Jaw Pain) Treatment

Temperomandibular Dysfunction (TMD) or Jaw Pain & Clicking

Dr. Elaine offers treatment for jaw pain & clicking resulting from TMD (Temperomandibular Dysfunction). TMD can present with pain and/or clicking in the jaw, limited ability to open the jaw, and pain or discomfort in the jaw with chewing or talking.

Dr. Elaine will perform a thorough assessment of the mechanics of the jaw, and can perform treatment often including Active Release Technique (ART), mobilizations to the TMJ, and provide rehabilitative exercises to facilitate a reduction in pain and improved function of the jaw.
